The One Where Movie Night is Now a Part of the Missionary Schedule? (Also I hit 6 months)

Man where to begin.

I hit 6 months on Wednesday, crazy I can't believe it's been that long, that's half a year, that's a 3rd of my mission. It flew by and yet was also the longest 6 months ever somehow. Crazy just crazy

We had another art party on p-day, helped Jeanne organize her huge hoard of Boyd's Bears, I had really good art motivation this week which was super cool, except that I still have no time for it and would get going then stay up too late or never finish but that's not a problem anymore because..........we done got quarantined on Friday! So we're apartment bound now, can't go door-to-door or go to anyone's home for dinner or lessons. So we've had some phone and video call lessons and stuff but it doesn't take up nearly as much time and stuff and we already dying folks lol (we played ping pong for like an hour yesterday while jamming to the whole My Turn on Earth soundtrack). But it's fine, lots of adjustments and next transfer is crazy bc we're going to get a ton of missionaries from South Korean and stuff in the middle of it all. But we'll figure it out I'm sure. Someday. Time to get creative! Somehow? Missionaries who have been out for 21 months or have health concerns like asthma are going home early, including Elder Sorensen 😭 it's so sad I feel so bad for them all!

But here's a thought I had: I saw this picture of a solar eclipse (it's ironic bc...ya know....corona) so only when the bright sun is blocked by the moon are we able to see the dimmer and in my opinion much more beautiful and awe inspiring light of the sun's corona. It's kinda hard for me to describe this, but to me that's like when sometimes God takes one thing away so that we are able to see something else. Sometimes something we think we want blocks our view from what really need, or from what's already there. Sometimes the blinding light outshines the softer quieter showcases of God's love all around us. When that blinding light source is taken away, it allows us to see or even forces us to look harder and find the things that really matter. It's like light pollution blocking the beauty of the stars. Idk if that made any sense at all but yeah apply that as you will

P.s. I wore my joggers under my dress on Sunday and there's nothing you can do to stop me!
