Stardate: Mar 9-15, 2020
Elder Sorensen and Bingham both also draw and Sister Stichart has a color book so we had a little art party for p-day, it was a good time! Missed Randall and Savage though, it would've been fun to do that with them too. Then we had fhe with the Gordon's and we found out that Elder Wieder eats bones? Yeah idk
Had a dream about the apocalypse, it was interesting, in Bednar's talk he said he was one of the servants who will be killed in Jerusalem at the start of the Second Coming. Then the rest of the unforgettable general conference was all about preparing and there were little graphics about how to evacuate to Missouri. Yeah just very specific especially considering I rarely ever remember my dreams. But don't worry my dreams don't tend be revelation. Lol
But two days later and it all went down! Yeah so the church announces no meetings worldwide and like oh dang what da fweak are we supposed to invite people too?!?!? Also lol rip we were supposed to have mission conference the next day! Yeah there was a lot of confusion and anxiety and stuff but we had a really good lesson with Katelynn so that was cool!
And we ended up having "multizone" conference anyway bc Idaho is in denial bc they didn't have a way to test for the virus and President cannot be stopped! So we got to reunite the squad which is the best! And we initiated Operation Ninja Doordash together to thank the Aps, those boys work hard.
And I got them working even harder bc we had this service the next day with Kathy, the Rake a Difference lady, another fundraiser called the Shamrock Shuffle. We committed to her weeks ago so I fought to keep it. Also I made it a goal to do art every night this week and I finally finished this painting.
Got completely soaked in the sleet, and on Sunday we had sacrament in the Calls home, it's so different but we still have the same Spirit with us and I really loved it. But it also makes me miss my family too. What a time to be alive, honestly. The world is kinda going crazy and junk but I keep coming back to 2 Timothy 1:7 "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind." Fear doesn't come from Heavenly Father, love does. And perfect love casteth out all fear. And all this right before the much anticipated bicentennial unforgettable general conference! Yeah that's not a coincidence, opposition always comes in its hardest right before really important good decisions. It happens to missionaries before they get their calls, it happens to the people we teach before their baptism, it happened to Joseph Smith before the First Vision. Just something to think about.

P.s. Also at (not) mission conference they gave us all a 14 day food supply just in case, but most of it has gluten so rip Sister Stichart I guess. And rip me bc that means if we get quarantined she'll have to eat me!
