The One Where We Saw a Chicken Crossing the Road

Aaaaand another week goes by with ups and downs and studies and hanging out with missionaries and video and phone lessons. Yup. Transfers were this week, Ales and I are both staying here.

So Tuesday was less than bueno, had some conflict which I do not do well with! Like I know I tend to avoid confrontation and all that but I was literally shaking a bit. Yeah not the best. It got better though, I mean we kinda ignored that which wasn't too good but a few days later we were able to talk and actually work together, it felt good. I did another drawing in my study journal that I was actually pretty happy with, and I was led to some scriptures that helped me too. It's still amazing to me how a single verse can resonate so deep for you and speak directly to your needs. Even verses you read a million times before without noticing.

Had an unstable unicorns picnic with the Hermanas. We met Meredith! A referral from our bishop, she is super cool! We made a bunch of Mother's Day starburst flower things on Saturday and spent most of Sunday delivering them (which is when we saw the chicken, and also a dead porcupine). Then we got a surprise from Tom and Susan (the people who gave me the initiation kit) when they came to 'drop off' dinner. It was fun, but it was so strange to have dinner appointment conversations again haha. Whenever this is all over there's going to be a lot of adjusting.
