The One Where I'm Not Inactive Anymore

Stardate: Aug 10-23, 2020

Sorry I missed last week. It's crazy, we've been so bust and the days have been so full and I don't even know where the times goes yet at the same time it can feel like it drags along. 

So last week we had zone conference with Elder Cornish of the 70 it was pretty cool. One of our wards had an ice cream social. It is moving season, we've been helping so many people with moving in and out. And we went to church with Jade to one of her services, it was really cool. 

Last week I thought I'd try to paint pictures for scriptures, the goal was to do one everyday. Sometimes it was great and made me happy, other times it was a struggle and kinda upsetting. The main thing is that it takes time to paint. That's been a struggle my whole mission, except during quarantine. There's just no time, missionary strictly formatted rigid schedule doesn't really fit well with the creative freedom I need and crave. In all things it seems time is my worst enemy, I'm not very good at being productive it seems. For Sister Soderquist though the schedule is perfect and she is great and using that time to the fullest. 

For some reason, and with other things and eventually all da things building up on me, this really got me down. I kind of lost my desire to create art, my artistic spirit was kinda broken, defeated I guess. I just didn't see the point anymore I guess.

But eventually over this week it was revived. Still had those ups and downs, as always so much I don't understand. Sigh if only things could be clear lol

Anyway, our ward finally started meeting again this Sunday! So I went to church again for the first time since March. Lol it felt so strange. Had a great lesson with Jade and we saw Aiden again, he still likes spiders but now he also has a very friendly preying mantis
