The One Where We Had a Sunrise Baptism

Stardate: Sept 21-27, 2020
So I'm officially a whole week behind in my journal so idk what happened this week. Well big moments actually, lol
First Elder Braun made me lemon bars for my one year, they were really good! Thanks bro.
On Tuesday we put Dan'l on date to be baptised! This was my second lesson with him, but actually only his third time meeting with the sisters so I didn't miss much. Dan'l is awesome, he married a lezs active member last year so his awesome wife has helped him a lot, also great fellowship from Brother Forest. But especially cool is that Dan'l works painting in the under construction Pocatello temple, he was able to recognize the sweet spirit he felt at work and sought it out. So excited for him
We had mission conference on Wednesday. First time since it all went down in March. They had cattle guards to separate the zones lol so only got to briefly talk to my friends a little bit. Brad Willcox came! It was cool, he talked about the 12 tribes and birthright, it was cool. I cried. Also President used my mouth of truth painting so dats cool I guess. Later that night President came to interview Dan'l and it was awesome. The next day we found out he was approved so we crammed hard and got everything ready (meaning writing a last minute talk) for his baptism on Saturday!
Dan'l decided to have his baptism at sunrise (7am) to symbolize his new beginning. A new day as he starts his new life on the covenant path. I loved it, so happy for him and excited for what's to come. Brother Forest brought waffles for afterwards, then Dan'l headed back to work at the temple.

P.s. we've been helping out with the set at the palace play house (it's not snow.its styrofoam). And we had a party at our place bc the east stake sisters' bathroom is being remodeled and then the inkom sister has to leave bc the member they live with tested positive so they all stayed with us for a bit!
