The One Where I Ninja Reflexes Smothered a Flame

Welp still super behind in my journal so idk what happened this week. Yeah I need to catch up

But we got to watch the first half of a dress rehearsal for Hunchback of Notre Dame bc we've been helping out with the set, so that was cool! Wish we could've seen the rest though.

Sigh so some elders pranked our apartment and got silly string stains on the paintings I've been working on for months, big sad. Also another time Wendel kinda almost set our house on fire just a little bit. 

And I last minute decided to do Inktober this year, art takes me forever and I'm gonna die but so far I've really liked it, we'll see if I can make it the whole month. I've been posting them on Facebook if you want to see what inspired each piece. 

And General Conference, twas awesome. Good stuff. Tbh I'm kinda tired of hearing about this dang virus, which is just another reason why I really liked Elder Hollands talk. Main take away, life is gonna be hard and that's okay bc that's part of the plan and we can trust in God and know that it is for our benefit and our learning. I already knew this, and at some points believed it more than others. But I think the problem was that I kinda got it up in my head that it's wrong if I feel sadness and despair bc the atonement isn't working to comfort me. But sadness is part of the plan too, all for our growth and progression.

Also Elder Braun made us a Brazilian pizza, meaning there is chocolate fudge stuff in the crust
