 Companion's Log Stardate: July 20-26, 2020 We went bowling again, I worked on my painting, it was nice. Our carbon monoxide alarm woke us up in the morning, spooked us a bit, but there was no problem. Had interviews with President, in person for once instead of over the phone. It was good. Then we helped Aleecia move, it was so hot we were exhausted! Had an early morning breakfast with Susan and Tom! Went to the young women's activity with Edie, it was fun. Visited Aiden and Brenda again and I got to hold his jumping spiders this time! So Aleecia got married! We helped her out with that, and it was stressful lol. Ughh yeah so then the wedding was just no bueno for Sister Dunn's mental health for a few reasons that are too exhausting to explain so yeah.  Companion's Log Stardate: July 13-19, 2020 Yup we went bowling for p-day. Spoiler alert, nothing blew up or caught fire. A little disappointing honestly. Maybe the curse is broken? Or the Lord protects his servants. Or maybe we'll find out one of us got covid and the whole mission will have to quarantine again, who knows. Okay let's see, we've been exhausted lately, it's crazy. Went to my second counseling session on Thursday. Idk not really all that helpful and I'm not going to see her next week so I still felt like I wasn't really getting help. But somehow I was finally able to really get out of the spiral, maybe just realizing that I can't really be completely dependent on counseling, it'll be a slow process so I gotta kinda take care of it myself.  Companion's Log Stardate: July 6-12, 2020 Played a bunch of sports on pday, yeah I know it's weird. Volley ball is alright but it hurts, I really like spike ball though. Beli got abruptly transferred :( we all miss him I went to counseling for the first time on Wednesday. Sister Lewis has been encouraging me to try it for awhile. Just getting started so it's not really too helpful yet lol but I think it will be really good, help me to get a handle on things. It felt good. Had to drive out to twin, but that means we got to have lunch with Sister Lewis! And there's a game store up there so I bought some new dice! Sighh okay so Thursday I felt really good and happy, it's sad looking back now bc that feels so distant. But I learned I kind of have a gift in empathy and helping others, and I have a true desire to do so that brings me so much love and joy. It felt so good. I loved it. Companion's Log Stardate: June 29-July 5, 2020 Wow another one of those crazy long weeks, you'd think that would just feel normal by now. Sister Lavoie is an stl and had to go to mlc so I went on exchange with Sister Cardon. Elders from our district called with a service opportunity so that was fun and exhausting. Meredith quit smoking!! She's so awesome, she said she lost a lot of her desire after getting home from the hospital and had some throw out the rest of her cigarettes for her, she's using patches but her dependence is already dwindling. It's incredible, she's progressing so fast and all on her own, with God of course. So happy and excited for her! I did a real weekly planning for the first time since I was transferred to this area. Man that felt good! Organized everything which is so satisfying, finally feel like I'm getting a handle on the area, it was great. And we met some adorable kittens the day before so that was cool.
